My name is Jocelyn Dare and I am thrilled to be the owner and founder of Jocelyn Dare Studio. Allow me to share a bit more about myself with you.

Jocelyn Dare is the Founder and Makeup Artist of Jocelyn Dare Studio. She is a dedicated mother to her daughter, Sofia. Jocelyn began her career as a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist in July 2023. Prior to becoming a mother, she worked in the Mining and Construction Industries for 9 years as a Blast Driller. With a passion for makeup that spans over a decade, Jocelyn operates her home studio in Newstead, Queensland, Australia. Additionally, she offers mobile services upon request for clients in the Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast areas.

Jocelyn's primary objective is to create a positive environment and provide the highest quality work to her clients. She aims to help her clients feel more beautiful, happy, and confident both inside and out. Jocelyn utilizes various techniques and ensures the use of top-notch makeup products. Her attention to detail and love for creativity are evident in her work. In fact, during her high school years, Jocelyn's artistic talents were recognized when she won the Year 12 Art Excellence Award.

Jocelyn's makeup skills encompass a wide range of styles, including Soft Glam, Formal, Events, Special Effects, and Photoshoot Glams. She is constantly expanding her knowledge and experimenting with new ideas. Recently, Jocelyn has added hairstyling services to meet the high demand. She specializes in Down Hairstyles such as Hollywood waves, curls, and straightening.

Furthermore, Jocelyn has collaborated with various companies for commercial makeup projects. She assists clients in achieving their desired looks for photoshoots, clothing, beauty, and more. Her work has been featured in iModel Fashion Magazine in Australia, and she frequently collaborates with fashion designers to bring their visions to life.

Thank you in advance for your support! Please note that mobile services are available for group bookings, photoshoots, commercials, and weddings. For locations within a 30km radius of the studio in Brisbane, a minimum of 2 faces and a small travel fee are required. For areas beyond Greater Brisbane, such as the Gold Coast, Ipswich, and Sunshine Coast, a minimum of 3 faces and a long service travel fee are necessary. Additional fees apply for appointments scheduled earlier than 6:00am or after 6:00pm, upon request.
